Marketing Assistant

Role Details

Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Location: Iron Acton, Bristol, UK.

Salary: up to £17k.

Reporting to: Technical & Digital Marketing Director

Starting Date: from 1st June 2012

Job Role Overview

A marketing assistant is required to run various aspects of the company's well established online marketing activities. The role is multi-faceted, covering social media, email newsletter production, affiliate programme management and running the pay-per-click campaign, amongst other tasks.

The successful candidate would benefit from working closely with Digital Marketing and Technical Director Peter Howarth, who has a wealth of experience to share.

As well as a learning opportunity, there is scope for career progression within an expanding, entrepreneurial company. Additional online businesses are being launched within the group, and larger offices are currently under construction.

Specific Tasks

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of marketing tasks including:

Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Blog)
Managing the Affiliate Programme
Running the Pay-per-Click campaign
Writing news articles for the website
Link building
Creating the email newsletter
Filming video content
Organising and liaising with Advertisers
Administrative tasks and reporting

Key Skills

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and writer, be well organised with good attention to detail, and adept with computers and digital marketing.
