British Corner Shop is discounting all delivery prices by a massive 20%. The offer has now been extended, and expires on the 2nd February 2011.

BCS already boasts some of the UK's the most competitive international shipping rates, so now is the time to take advantage of an even lower delivery charge and stock up on your favourite British food.

Director Mark Callaghan explains: "January is always the month when people start to feel the pinch after Christmas. We have had very positive feedback from customers when we have run similar discounts on shipping prices in previous years."

"We now make it a regular part of our promotional calender to subsidise delivery prices at this time of year. The savings for our customers are significant, and we know that this is appreciated around January and February time. It does cost the company to subsidise delivery in this way, but we can sustain it for a short period at this time of year and encourage our customers to take advantage."

For popular destinations such as France and Germany, delivery price for a 30Kg order is down to £9.59 from £11.99 - a saving of £2.40. For the same order to Sweden or Finland the shipping cost would be £16.79 down from £20.99, a saving of £4.20.

Even greater savings can be realised in real terms for destinations such as the USA and Australia.

The shipping discount can be clearly seen in your shopping basket, as this example for France demonstrates. The usual rate of £11.99 is shown in red and struck out, with the discounted rate of £9.59 displayed next to it.
